Position

As Distribution Channel Manager for North America you will

  • Develop, execute, and improve sales in the Region aligned with Equilume’s strategy

  • Develop Lead Base: acquire leads/projects from distribution partners and end-users

  • Execute and ensure adherence to business plan

  • Locate and identify potential business by discovering, contacting potential opportunities

  • Develop Key Accounts

  • Ensure deal closure

  • Use your knowledge of the equine industry to engage in complex challenges

  • Identify trendsetter ideas within North American Equine Market

  • Liaise constantly with Company Leaders in Ireland to ensure opportunities are covered

  • Secure technical support and advice from colleagues in Europe

  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues in ensuring best outcomes

  • Use leadership skills to expand the team in the region to enable growth

  • Work remotely and spend approx. 50% of time with clients in the region

What you can expect 

  • A full product training on high end products for the equine industry both in the US as well as in Ireland

  • A base annual salary range of +/- $70.000 and commission of +/-$30.000 paid quarterly

What we are looking for Education/ Experience/ Skills

  • Associate or Bachelor’s level degree (beneficial but not essential)

  • Minimum of 3 - 8 years in a business development/sales role B2B with increasing responsibility

  • A passion for horses, clients, and the broad equine industry

  • Enthusiasm for both Key Account development and acquiring new business

  • Experience in explaining and supporting technical/equine products

  • A skilled negotiator

  • Excellent stakeholder relationship builder

  • Targeted results and outcome driven

  • You communicate and interact effectively and persuasively with all levels and functions in an organization

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • High level communications skills, both written and spoken

  • Experience of working in a team

  • A can-do attitude and an ability to overcome obstacles

  • You are proficient with MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Confidence in working remotely

Musts

  • Current valid driving license / own vehicle

  • Willingness to travel nationwide & occasionally to Europe

  • Ability to travel to the EU Visa Free
