Francie Stirling, MBA
Vice President, Talent Acquisition

Francie Stirling is an experienced business leader with focus on organizational development, compliance, technology implementation and full cycle recruiting. She has helped to build the infrastructure of start-ups and worked with entrepreneurs initiating new roles to meet business growth. She has collaborated with senior executives in facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and also with large corporations in leading the human resources management during times of fast-paced growth.

Most of her career has been spent with companies that have been in some sort of flux, so she learned to be flexible, ask the right questions and to navigate through choppy waters. When spearheading the implementation of a computerized database and order system at a restaurant, Francie assured reluctant employees and also made it a marketing exercise to involve customers. No employees or customers were lost in the transition.

Francie has more than 25 years of experience across a broad spectrum of industries including e-commerce, hospitality, construction, health care and aerospace production. She enjoys learning about different businesses and pairing that knowledge with her expertise to help create business excellence through strategic and tactical practices.

Francie holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Franklin Pierce College. She has taught Managerial Communications and Organizational Behavior to continuing education students at the graduate level.

A native New Englander, Francie loves the fact she was born and bred a “proper Bostonian” combined with the fun of spending summers growing up a New Hampshire “country girl”. The best of both worlds taught her she could learn as much from the local farmer or carpenter as she could from the more urban professionals. This helps her to easily connect with clients and employees on all levels.

  • The Talent I Wish I Had:  Wish I had kept up my piano lessons and had one to play for fun and family sing-a-longs

Best Characteristic: Integrity in word and action

Key Success Factor: Curiosity and persistence

Favorite Beverage: Coffee, Root Beer or Water

Favorite Food: Blueberry Pancakes  - made with fresh blueberries and topped with real maple syrup

Favorite Books: Love non-fiction and can’t just choose one. Both of these are books I will read again.
    1. Empire of the Summer Moon by S.C.Gwynne - a fascinating historical account about the Comanches and Quanah Parker the son of a white woman captive and a Comanche.
    2. Frederick Law Olmsted: Designing the American Landscape  by Charles E.  Beveridge - an enthralling account of the works of the Father of American Landscape. He developed Central Park and Boston’s Emerald Necklace among many other national parks and landmarks across the country.

Favorite Movie: Black Panther -  loved the action, the scenery, and especially the representation of powerful and smart women in key roles.

Lesser known Favorite Move:  Jane Got a Gun  with Natalie Portman - a Western with a woman as heroine.

Favorite TV Show: None, I watch very little TV. If pressed, I’d say occasional Hallmark series or Jeopardy.

Favorite Song: There are so many and my favorites range from Country to Rock  to Hymns. One that comes to mind is Went to a Garden Party by RIck Nelson.  “But it’s all right now. I’ve learned my lesson well. You see, you can’t please everyone so you got to please yourself.”  That’s a philosophy I try to follow, but admit to being a people pleaser at heart. And that pleases me.
