Work with the best and join a motivated team. As Vice President of Sales, North America, you will lead and develop the Sales and Leadership for this US Subsidiary of the Irish Manufacturer, Equilume. You will be based remotely out of Kentucky or Texas with client visits throughout North America.
Position
As Vice President of Sales (Remote) for North America you will
Execute, direct and advance sales in North America aligned with Equilume’s strategy
Grow a revenue base by positioning the company in targeted segments of retail, veterinarian and direct sale channels (Including online marketplace)
Expand sales team, facilitate growth and deal closures
Be competent on a technical level, especially in life sciences with a basic knowledge of equine health issues and familiarity with various equine disciplines
Use your leadership experience and entrepreneurial talent to develop a great team
Broaden your knowledge of equine disciplines and their potential business opportunities
Develop sales plans including budgets and forecasting
Build on sales experience and documented results from selling life science products
Drive sales using both tactical and strategic methods
Oversee Key Accounts in the Equine Industry
Report to the CEO in Ireland while taking full responsibility for leading the US team
Liaise constantly with Company Leaders in Ireland to ensure opportunities are covered
Comfort in engaging with an organization from a different culture, specifically Ireland
Work remotely and spend approx. 30% of time traveling to clients

What you can expect
A full product training on high end products for the equine industry both in the US as well as in Ireland
A base annual salary range of +/- $95,000 and an annual commission of +/- $35,000 paid quarterly

What we are looking for Education/ Experience/ Skills
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Animal Science, Equine Science, Life Science or Business
A minimum of 4 - 7 years in a business development/sales role
Experience in leadership with Sales / Sales Budget responsibility
B2B and direct sales experience with increasing responsibility for growth and revenue
An interest in Animal Health, specifically equine
An ability to ‘hold your own’ in a conversation with anyone in the equine field
Willingness to become familiar with the Western Pleasure ecosphere in the Texas / Oklahoma area
Enthusiasm for both Key Account development and acquiring new business
An understanding of technical products and competency in explaining those products to the client
Excellent stakeholder relationship builder
Targeted results and outcome driven
Ability to interact effectively and persuasively with all levels and functions in an organization
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High level communications skills, both written and spoken
Experience in building and leading teams
A can-do attitude and an ability to overcome obstacles
You are proficient with MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Confidence and self-direction in working remotely
Musts
Current valid driving license / own vehicle
Willingness to travel nationwide & occasionally to Europe
Ability to travel to the EU Visa Free
